Friday's Runway Decorate Week 2

So its time for Fridays Runway Decorate week 2. I hope you all enjoyed week one and couldn't wait to see what week two had to offer. Check out how this weeks runway designs inspired  interior designers.

Wow!! This room looks like its right of the runway model. I love how the designer used the color on the chairs and the pop of green in the hanging lamp shade. On the model the green is the largest in color but in the room the designer only had to use a pop of it in the shade. Great work!!! 

What, What Say What!!! Check it out the black counsel table and the yellow in the wall. This room is definitely wearing the model!!

I can personally say that I absolutely love this runway outfit and the room is spot on. I will wear this outfit any day look at that skirt “I love it” The yellow blouse models the color on the walls and the pink skirt the chair awl so nice and the canvas up against the wall shows just how lovely these colors works together and the chandelier just brings it all together. Love it!!

"Friday's Runway Decorate" Week1

Its Friday and where checking out how the runway designer inspires the interior designers!! Check out these lovely Runway designs that inspires Interior designs. 

 

Wow!! Check it out!!! This room looks like right off the runway model. Love it!!

Check out the green jacket on this model “extremely chic” The room is not only alike in color but also in the attitude of it all. This model is standing in such a way that looks cool and poise. Now look at the chairs how the stance on them is!!! Looks cool and confident right!!!

Now I don’t know if I will wear this runway outfit but it surely inspired the interior designer. Wow look at that vignette!! The blue table and the two pattern side chairs oh did I fell to mention the red mirror!!!  Oh and I just love the rug.

"Real Estate Snitch Wednesdays" Michael Jackson House!!!

Time to get your Real Estate Snitch on!!!

Check out the The Holmby Hills mansion where Michael Jacksonwas staying when he suffered cardiac arrest and later died on June 25, 2009,this house was on the market for a grand total of $28,995,000. A cold 10 million dollar drop from what it was previously on the market for in 2009. Michael Jackson was renting the house or should I say Mansion for a whopping $100,000 dollars per month. With all the amenities this home has to offer this home was well suited for a King – (The King of Pop)

The gated French Chateau-style estate, completed in 2002, has seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms in 17,171 square feet for your basic living needs,. The features of the home includes 12 fireplaces a theater room, wine cellar and a gym ,spa facilities and can’t forget the seven car garage, amazing guest house with a landscaped pool and maids quarters. This house is nothing short of a marvelous!!! I hope you enjoy this week Real estate snitch.

Now this home is nothing short of amazing this is what you call curb appeal or should I say home appeal Wow love this !!!

“Is this a foyer or what” Can’t you see the King of Pop doing the moonwalk all down the halls? There’s room to have a concert in that foyer.  

The grand estate was designed by award-winning architect Richard Landry and completed in 2002.

After doing the moonwalk all down the halls envision the King of Pop taking a trip up them beautiful curving stairs!! Wow what a stairway to sanctuary.

What a huge accomplishment in design and scale, check out the craftsmanship that’s in the living room and all the warmth and sophistication!! This is what you call first class elegance

Wow!!! Visualize having a dinner party in this dining room and now that the King of Pop lived there can you picture what you will talk about around the dining table. Wow looks at that molding isn’t it just classic?

I just love the L-Shapes vanity how sophisticated  and glam is that. Take a look at the door leading to the balcony with the chase-longed  isn't that relaxing?

What an Amazing theater this is I means its like waiting for a concert to start the tables that are on top of the stage is ingenious check out all the  impeccable craftsmanship of charm and elegance in a world-class setting.

The Grand Office

This office is nothing less then grand, when the ceiling is as beautiful as the whole house how could this room be nothing less than great. I will love to work in this home office.

The home is surrounded by lush, mature landscaping Set on approximately 1.26 acres a heated swimming pool lies between the main house and the guesthouse. If I was a guest in this house I will never want to leave.

Update on the sale of Michael Jackson's home at the Holmbly Hills Estates: Report says Micheal's long time friend Christian Audigier will purchase the house and leave it as it was before Michael Jackson died  where it will  serve as a memorial for his loyal fans.

Key Interiors by Shinay Blog Introduction/Buffalo NY

 Hello,

Welcome to my blog, Wow I finally pushed the publish button!!! The following is my reasons as to what this blog is all about. First my name is Shinay Key and I am an Interior designer. I have my very own design business called!! You guessed it (Key Interiors by Shinay) I’ve been a designer for over 10 years I attended Villa Maria college in Buffalo, NY where I studied the introduction to interior design and later went on to finish above average in all my classes and now here I am making my introduction to my blog and couldn’t be happier.  

Now to talk about what this blog will communicate to my readers and hopefully soon to be members. 

Just think for a minute!! Wouldn’t it be wonderful simply to close ones eyes make a wish and unlock the door to a charming home that reflects taste, interest and lifestyle? I always admired people who have style but I absolutely adore people who share their sense of style with others. That’s what I’ll be doing! Sharing!! Sharing my sense of style with you and hopefully truly inspire you along the way.

Please know that this blog is meant to be a source of encouragement to cheer you on to your own design discoveries. Today, the materials and equipment that goes into making and maintaining a comfortable and attractive home are within everyone’s reach. But of course there is more to decorating than mere products!!  But how do you choose the right colors, patterns and finishes for the effects you want to create?

In other words, while good materials are a big part of the story, bright ideas and basic skills are no less important. And that is what this Blog is all about. In plain words and clear illustrations Key Interiors by Shinay Blog explains the principals of interior decorating and home repairs, giving guidance on design and resources, techniques and tricks of the trade. With this being said I hope the upcoming posts gets you excited. 

Certainly a home that brings joy is the ultimate motivation for interior design! My hope is that the diary of my experience may bring clearness to your pathways toward defining home. Now
